I wrote this blog just a short while ago and we just had an electrical thunderstorm the other day. As of today we have taken in two golf cart battery chargers that “just don’t work” and diagnosed the failures to be a result of the lightening storms. Hence, I thought I would re post this blog. Neither customer with the "injured" chargers had a surge protector on the power circuit for their battery chargers.
We sell a couple of different ones for around forty bucks. Folks, that’s a whole lot cheaper then a two hundred dollar repair or worse yet, three hundred and fifty dollars for a new golf cart battery charger. Again, I am trying to help you.
